We are writing to express our strong support for Liz O’Donnell for Town Moderator.

In a role that requires fairness, clarity, and steady leadership, Liz stands out. She is thoughtful and measured, with a temperament that brings calm and focus to complex discussions. At Town Meeting emotions can run high. A cool, calm, and collected moderator will set the tone with her steady presence.

Liz is able to explain complicated processes in ways that are easy to understand. Town Meeting procedures, warrant articles, and parliamentary rules can feel intimidating. A moderator who can break down those complexities clearly and respectfully helps ensure that all residents can participate confidently and meaningfully. 

As working parents, we especially appreciate the lived experience Liz brings to this role. Having written books about balancing work, raising children, and caring for aging parents, she understands firsthand the demands on families (especially those with young children like us!) Liz is not a politician; she understands the harsh realities we all face. 

Our town deserves a moderator who is fair, patient, and deeply committed to helping residents understand and participate in the Town Meeting process. We believe Liz O’Donnell is exactly that person. Please vote for Liz for Town Moderator on Saturday, April 11.
